You may not realise it… but you spend a third of your life roughly in the dream world… when you are asleep.
The Parallel universe?
… where anything is possible?
Maybe you are the real you when you are asleep.
Nothing to hold you back..
Nothing to stop you from achieving anything…
Except by the limits of your own imagination.
What happens when you have no more wants?
… and have achieved all your goals.
…done everything you want to do.
is this what they call satisfaction?
is this what they mean by satisfaction = happiness?
Or does it simply mean boredom?
Having reached the limits of your imagination.
How does dreaming broaden our imagination?
Taking ideas from a world without limits…
… and molding them around whats possible and whats not possible in the real world.
When we dream… do we have control of whats to happen? Or is it just us watching ourselves in third person perspective.
How come we never dream that we are someone else? We always dream as ourselves. Never as anybody else.
Can we dream of something we haven’t imagined?
Im going down a road where I don’t know where it leads..
So im going to stop. Turn back before I get lost deeper and deeper into tought.
Good night.
If your dreams were consistent, you might say you were living a different life, although not a physical one. You’d have to "pick up where you left off" when you slept so that you could be living a constant existence, like when we’re awake.
But most of the time, when we dream, we are just mentally experiencing miscellaneous scenes.
I dream 99% of the time and remember my dreams. They never are strung together into one long "parallel life experience."
This is a very interesting topic.
